Try out an unusual festive drink...

Over the next few weeks, we've got a series of drinks aimed at the festive season - and beyond. The bartender is the food and drinks writer, Fiona Beckett and her first concoction for Simon Parkes is a Banoffee Martini.

Most of you will be familiar with the banana and toffee goo that is Banoffee Pie - it was originally made by the chef of the Hungry Monk pub and restaurant at Jevington in East Sussex. But... a martini?
