England's first lesbian couple to enter a civil partnership

At 8am on 21 December, Debbie Gaston and Elaine Cook will enter the history books as England's first lesbian couple to enter into a civil partnership. In a ceremony in Brighton's register office the pair, who have been partners for 16 years, will take what they see as 'a huge step in the right direction for equality'.

Jenni meets Debbie and Elaine the day before their ceremony and asks what it will mean for them.
