Cantamus are a part time girls' choir from Mansfield in Nottinghamshire. Against the odds they've been crowned the greatest girls' choir in the world and are trying to raise money for a trip to Beijing to defend their title at the choir Olympics. They're an outside bet for the Christmas number one slot and there are plans to turn their story, and that of their 68 year old choir mistress Pamela Cook, into a film.
