on preparing the garden for Spring
At her historical garden in Shropshire, the writer and gardener Katherine Swift is busy planting and preparing for the spring opening to the public. Even at this time of year, she's hard at work, and despite the often atrocious weather, Katherine says she still takes time out to appreciate and enjoy what she describes as the pleasures of the garden in winter.
Maggie Ayre joined her at Morville Hall near Bridgnorth.
