Celebrating the 250th anniversary of his birth
Over the years Mozart wrote pieces for various women, sometimes to use in his lessons and other times to give them a chance to show off their skills. And sometimes, as in the case of the piano sonata in C he wrote for Rosa Cannabich, he was out to impress the father.
