Why are so few women?
In early 2004, abuses by peacekeepers in the UN mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo made international headlines. However, a recent report by Refugee International revealed similar findings in Liberia and Haiti. A new study has also found that out of the 61 senior UN peace negotiators, only 4 of them are women.

Dame Margaret Anstee, the first woman peace negotiator for the UN and Professor Joanna Bourke from Birkbeck College, University of London join Jenni for the discussion.
