Jane Urquhart14 Nov 2005
On her new novel, A Map of Glass

Having started life as a poet, Canadian novelist, Jane Urquhart has just published her sixth novel. Best known over here for the 2001 Booker long-listed The Stone Carvers, Urquhart has spent the past 20 years developing a blend of fiction that merges history, human conflict and the wilds of the Canadian landscape. A Map of Glass extends those themes and on Monday's Woman's Hour, Jane joins Jenni.

Jane Urquhart's A Map of Glass, is published by Bloomsbury, ISBN 0-7475-8149-5
