Special rights over their children?

Wendolyn Markcrow received a suspended prison sentence after killing her severely disabled child. Sue Axon is taking the Government to court and challenging children's rights to confidentiality in contraceptive advice. What happens when the rights of the mother conflict with the rights of the child?

Jenni explores the ethics of rights in the family with Susan James, professor of Philosophy at Birkbeck, London University and Elspeth Webb, Senior Lecturer in Child Health at Cardiff University.
