Phone in: mothers at home5 Oct 2005
Are very young children best brought up by their mothers? We want to hear form you - 0800 044 044

If you were listening earlier in the week you'll have heard Penelope Leach talking about her study which found that very young children do better when looked after by their mother, than when they're cared for by relatives, childminders or in nurseries.

We want to hear your views for our phone in programme.

Are you a full time mother who feels the research is just common sense and is glad to finally have some recognition for the work you do? Do you work in the childcare industry? And if so how do you feel about the implications for your profession? Are you a grandparent or a father who feels snubbed by the research? Or perhaps you're a working parent who needs two incomes to pay the mortgage and doesn't want to be made to feel guilty about the choices you've made?

Whatever you think, call us on 0800 044 044 or get in touch via e-mail
Please don't forget to leave a number so we can call you back.
