Katherine Swift's cleaning tips

Ponds and water features are a lovely addition to any garden, but can be prone to algae. Algae build up in Summer, making Autumn a good time of year to give your pond some tender loving care.

So how do you go about keeping the water in your pond crystal clear as well as wildlife friendly? At Morville Hall in Shropshire, gardener and writer Katherine Swift shows Maggie Ayre how, as well as some nifty work with an old broomstick.
