How can the daily household chores be shared?

Earlier this year, civil marriage vows in Spain were changed; now, men have to promise to take an equal part in housework, childcare, and looking after older relatives.

Figures in the UK suggest that men do less than their share of housework - so what, if anything, can be done to redress this imbalance, and would a rule similar to the Spanish one work here?

Jenni talks to writer Melissa Benn and Kate Stanley of the Institute for Public Policy Research.
