Music director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra
Marin Alsop was the first woman to be appointed principal conductor of a major British orchestra, the Bournemouth Symphony.
Now she's repeated the feat on the other side of the Atlantic, having just been appointed music director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. But her arrival has been greeted by controversy, as the musicians are divided on the question of whether they actually want her.
Jenni will be asking her if she's looking forward to the new job.
