Comedy, tragedy and sex

In the early eighties Annie Griffin came to Britain from the United States, joined an amateur theatre group and went to the Edinburgh festival. She performed in tiny venues to about twenty people, lived on beer and peanuts and at the end of a fortnight she was hooked.

Now, fresh from the success of The Book Group , she's returned to Edinburgh for her new film Festival. She joins Jenni to talk about comedy, tragedy and sex.

Festival premiers July 12th as part of Edinburgh International Film festival and goes on general release July 15th.
