Those wealthy enough often call in professionals to advise them on creating the perfect garden, but gardening writer Katherine Swift who built her own garden at Morville Hall in Shropshire says you don’t need magazines or designers to make a beautiful garden.
Katherine’s own garden has fifteen different sections and she’s spent more than fifteen years planning and building it. But for those who have less grand ambitions, where do you start?
