How can we motivate first time voters to make it to the ballot box

At under 40%, turnout at the General Election among
18-24-year-olds is expected to be the lowest of any age group. There is much talk of apathy, disillusionment and young people failing to see what difference their vote will make. So what can be done to fire them up? 

Woman's Hour hits the campaign trail at one secondary school's mock election, and Jenni discusses how to motivate first time voters with Kat Fletcher, president of the National Union of Students and columnist Jenny McCartney.
