The Australian singer talks about her unconventional childhood and sings live in the studio
Kasey Chambers grew up hunting foxes in the wilds of the Australian outback, living in a house without electricity and spending hours listening to tapes of her guitar-playing father's versions of American country. This music had a huge influence on her and Kasey's last album went Platinum in her native Australia.
Kasey talks to Jenni about her unusual early life and sings live.
Wayward Angel is available on the Virgin label.
Kasey performs at the Shepherds Bush Empire, London tonight and Glasgow King Tuts on Saturday, 30 April. For further 2005 tour dates see Kasey Chambers
