Post Natal Depression
07 April 2005
Listen to this item
Post Partum Psychosis is a rare and extreme form of post natal depression
The birth of a child is trumpeted as one of the great moments in anyone's life - but for Elaine Hanzak it all went terribly wrong.
She descended into a spiral of depression, leading to her hospitalisation and treatment for a rare illness - post partum psychosis.
Now recovered, she joins Jenni to discuss the book she has written about her experiences.
