new guidelines to help identify pregnant women most at risk

Pre-eclampsia is a life-threatening condition that occurs during pregnancy and which leads to the deaths of around 6 women and 600 babies a year in the UK.

Woman's Hour finds out why new guidelines will help doctors and midwives spot the women who are most likely to get the disease and how they should handle severe cases.
