But does this mean the UK Pro-Choice Movement will now come under the sort of pressure its counterpart movement in the States has experienced recently, and if so, how will it respond to the new questions being posed as a result of scientific advances in foetal viability?
Jenni talks to the American Catholic Pro-Choice Campaigner, Frances Kissling, who believes it's time for hardliners to review their position - and to Ellie Lee, Coordinator of the UK Pro-Choice Forum.
