Today we'd like to hear from you about our attitudes to food and our bodies.

50% of women in Britain are currently on a diet and one in five of us is obese. At the same time the number of women with eating disorders is rising. Why do you think we have such a problematic relationship with food and our bodies?

With increasing access to nutritional food and changing exercise patterns, we have also got much bigger over the last century. So why are we obsessed by thinness? Does our upbringing and culture affect our attitude and our shape?

We'd like to hear your thoughts and experiences, so do emailyour comments. Or you can call us on 08700 100 444 (lines open 8am). Please don't forget to include your phone number!
