How this common evergreen can end up a flight of fancy
Katherine Swift is a hedge enthusiast. The garden of the Dower House, her home in Shropshire, is filled with the shapes and structures of hedges she has cultivated over the last fifteen years.
At this time of year the Yew hedge, and what she calls the tapestry hedge, really come into their own providing a variety of textures and greens in the winter landscape.
Maggie Ayre joins Katherine at Morville Hall to look at the evergreens and find out more about growing and shaping hedges.
