The director of Monsoon Wedding on her latest film
Mira Nair is one of India's most accomplished film directors. She's directed Mississippi Masala, Salay Bombay and the smash hit Monsoon Wedding. Her latest movie is a working of Vanity Fair, a book she has loved since her teens. Jenni asks why Mira chose to direct yet another version of William Thackeray's most famous book.
Vanity Fair is on general release from 14 January
