Carol Black30 December 2004
Controversial head of Royal College of Physicians

Professor Carol Black is not afraid to tackle difficult issues and she stirred controversy when she suggested that the large number of women going into medicine could see the profession being downgraded and becoming less influential.

As one of Woman's Hour's Women of the Year, she tells Jenni exactly what she meant.
