The Global Peace Initiative of Women call for dialogue between Israel and Palestine
This week the Global Peace Initiative of Women have organised a conference in Jordan. The initiative will bring together Palestinian and Israeli women and issue a call to the leaderships of the two communities to respond to the need of the people for dialogue with their neighbours, which they see as an essential part of peacebuilding.
Jenni speaks to Professor Alice Shalvi, the Director of the Schecter Institute of Jewish Studies and Professor Khuloud Dajani, one of the founders and board member of the Palestinian Campaign for Peace and Democracy, about what they hope to achieve.
