But life for Pat life was utterly different than it is for a footballers wife today.

Jenni talks to Pat and Becky Tallentire who's just published a book about the footballers' wife - from the 30's through to the 60's.

Jenni is also joined by Victoria McManaman - wife to Steve, formerly with Real Madrid and now with Manchester City. Training to be a barrister, Victoria believes the modern day footballer's wife has an unfair reputation as an air head.
