The women of Sheffield on their watershed nominations
So far over 1600 of you have sent in your nominations for the novel you would describe as your Watershed book. They range from Tess of the D'Urbervilles to The Women's Room and this week Rabbi Dame Julia Neuberger chose Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.
In conjunction with our series we've been running various workshops around the country. The latest took place yesterday in the BBC Open Learning Centre at Radio Sheffield.
After the workshop, some of the women joined Martha on Radio Sheffield's community bus to talk about what Watershed Fiction means to them. The next workshop is in Bristol. The reading group will meet at 6.30pm on Wednesday 13 October at the Trinity Road Library, Bristol.
