Catherine Hill was returning to Italy with her boyfriend, Picci, after holidaying in India. As the plane stood on the tarmac in Karachi en route to Italy, Catherine's life changed forever when terrorists stormed the cabin.
Catherine survived the hijack but with terrible injuries caused by a grenade. In Dancing in the Sea, she describes her emotional state during the hijack, from initial shock to 'positive' thoughts of survival.
