On her invitation to paint the Dalai Lama's roses

Jo Self is a British Artist, formerly artist in residence at the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, who has been given permission to paint the gardens of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Jo talks to Jenny about her preparations to his remote residence in the outer Himalayas of Northern India and her feelings about living and painting at 1800 meters above sea level.
