Thousands sign-up to new long-term survey

Breast cancer charity Breakthrough is calling for 100,000 women to participate in a new study into what causes the disease.

Following the item on Woman's Hour - prior to last week's launch of the study - there has been a huge level of interest.

We talk to Baroness Delyth Morgan, chief executive of charity Breakthrough, about the response.

Women aged 18 and over from across the UK who are interested in taking part in the study can visit http://www.breakthroughgenerations.org.uk or telephone 0870 242 4485 for more details.
