The Drumming Granny2 September 2004
The listener who took up drumming at the age of 59

Woman's Hour listener Beryl Luckins got in touch after hearing our feature on female drummers last week. Beryl had always wanted to play drums but never had the time. When she retired she finally got around to it and now, at the age of 61, she spends 2 hours a week bashing away on a drum kit.

Beryl tells Jenni why she loves being the drumming granny.
