Over recent years there have been huge strides in the detection and treatment of breast cancer, but it's still the primary cause of death among women between 35 and 55. It kills 35 women every day.
So prevention is now the real issue and Breakthrough Breast Cancer, together with the Institute of Cancer Research, is launching a study which will involve 100,000 women over a 50 year time span to try and establish what the causes are.
Baroness Delyth Morgan, chief executive of Breakthrough joins Jenni to discuss the issues.
