Making your daydreams a reality

It’s a well-known fact that adulthood now begins at 30, ‘gap years for grown-ups’ are the new travel phenomenon and that all Britain’s sexagenarians are off SKI-ing (Spending the Kids' Inheritance). In fact, as a nation, we seem to be getting more adventurous.

And, as the summer holiday is generally the time to cook up new resolutions over a glass or two of vino, two women reveal how they made their daydreams reality.

Alison Cowley and Susie Beattie tell Jenni how they ditched the day-jobs, threw caution to the wind and set about making new lives for themselves.
