Can female intuition help decipher smells

Dr Anne Richardson analyses smells for washing-up liquids, floor cleaners, deodorants and shampoos.

She says the right smell can make us think one product performs better than another and a relaxing smell in a deodorant can make us less tense and therefore sweat less.

Dr Richardson tells reporter Rachel Ellison why the combination of her science background and female intuition is the key to doing a job she loves.
