Last night the City of London Festival opened with the premiere of Jamaican-born composer, Eleanor Alberga's piece, Tiger Dream in Forest Green.
Eleanor, whose work has been described as 'vibrant, urgent, rampantly spectacular, and bristling with vivid orchestral colours', talks to Jenni about the musical traditions behind her work and her transition from concert pianist to composer.
