Photographer responsible for some of the most iconic images of the last forty years

She has documented the extremes of life from homeless families and drug addicts through to portraits of hundreds of the world's most famous; Marlon Brando and Liza Minelli among them.

Now the first major UK exhibition of her work will be on display at Manchester's City Art Gallery. She joins Jenni to discuss it.

American Odyssey and Twins is on at the Manchester Art Gallery from 26 June 2004 to 5 September 2004
