Mira Hamermesh is an award winning film maker, painter and writer.

As a young Jewish teenager, a run of good luck assisted her in her escape from the horrors of German occupied Poland.

Her memoir The River Of Angry Dogs has recently been published. She shares the story of her remarkable life.
