Ancient Egyptian artefacts28 Apr 2004
Egyptian artefacts are an obsession for members of a group of women in North Yorkshire.

Felicity Finch asks them why they are so fascinated with the relics.

In the early 1900's a number of pharaonic tombs in Egypt were raided by thieves and the stolen artefacts ended up in the hands of private collectors. One of these collections was donated to a museum in Harrogate 30 years ago.

Members of The North Yorkshire Ancient Egyptian Group were asked to help catalogue the artefacts and Felicity Finch talks to two of the members, Jo Hirons and Ann Murray and Eygptophile, Vicky Jordan about the discoveries
