Staying with an abusive partner30 Apr 2004
Are we too black and white about domestic violence?

It's a subject tackled by the journalist Amanda Platell in a controversial column. She argues that it is understandable why some women choose to stay with a partner who has hit them and that maybe there are acceptable levels of violence in a relationship.

She talks to Martha as does Nicola Harwin, Director of Women's Aid who is in our Bristol studio.
