Fanny Cradock
A new play dedicated to Fanny Cradock has opened in Yorkshire.

Woman's Hour asks what does this TV chef say about the era in which she reigned supreme?

Jenni is joined by cookery writer Prue Leith, Sally Feldman and playwright Julia Darling, author of The Lives and Loves of a Kitchen Devil, to discuss what TV chefs say about the society that watches them and how they have evolved over the decades.

The Lives and Loves of a Kitchen Devil by Julia Darling is at the Mechanics Institute, Marden, Yorkshire on Saturday 17 April
