The Venerable Robina Courtin15 Apr 2004
At the age of 31 Robina Courtin, from Australia, decided to leave behind her life as a radical lesbian separatist and become a nun.

But it wasn't the Catholicism of her youth that she embraced - it was the eastern philosophy of Buddhism that inspired her. And now, at nearly 60, she leads one of the world's most influential Buddhist organisations.

The Venerable Robina Courtin joins Jenni to talk about her visit to Britain and her life's work.

Robina Courtin is at theJamyang Buddhist Centre in London on April 15, 17 and 18 , and at the centre in Cambridge on April 20
