Boudoirs16 Apr 2004
Is the boudoir a place solely for wealthy women of the past?

It's a small, private, luxurious room used by women for dressing, entertaining, relaxing or sleeping.

Anna Egan meets Ilse Crawford, creative consultant teaching a one-day course at Coco de Mer on how to create a sensual boudoir and Ros Savill, director of the Wallace Collection.

And Carole Caplin, health and fitness consultant and Catherine Croft, an architectural historian, join Martha to discuss whether women continue to feel the need for a room of their own.
