If it's sweet or if it's fruity or milky and you're on the other side of the Atlantic, it's a pretty good bet that it's going to feature cinnamon somewhere in the spicing.

So much do North Americans like cinnamon that when the food historian and author Andrew Dalby joined Canadian, Anna McNamee, for an afternoon coffee he found that it came with a special cinnamon treat.
