When Kate Lock first met Tim Franklin, 36 years her senior, she was a naive undergraduate and he was a popular and charismatic mature student.

However he had also been 'a lifer' in prison, having been convicted of the murder of his lover, Tina, which he always maintained was an accident. Kate and Tim started an explosive relationship but it was only when Kate tried to leave him that she discovered how potentially dangerous he really was.

Kate Lock joins Jenni to tell her why she began investigating Tina's death and what she found out about both the man she had loved and herself.
