Photographing children09 Mar 2004
Image: detail from Exploring Childhood photograph
Controversy has been caused by a new exhibition called 'Exploring Childhood' which has just opened at the Spitz gallery in London. The work of one of the photographers, Betsy Schneider, has been removed from the exhibition because they show her daughter photographed every day since her birth, mostly naked.

So what is acceptable to photograph and what isn't? Where should photographers and parents draw the line?

Jenni Murray talks to Betsy and another of the photographers, Sue Andrews, whose work is still in the exhibition.

'Inventory: An Exhibition of Photographs Exploring Childhood' opens as part of the Alternative Arts Women's Literary Festival at the Spitz Gallery, East London.
