This weekend, while one band of pilgrims is on its way to Mecca to celebrate Haj, another group is visiting Elephant Island in the footsteps of recent Antarctic expeditions.

Rosie Stancer, who returned to Britain this week as the oldest woman to reach the South Pole and Marion Bowman join Martha to discuss how pilgrimages have developed through the years and how these religious quests have been tackled by women.
