Portraying real people on screen13 January 2004
Jenny Agutter as Jane Clark in BBC4's Alan Clark Diaries
The dramatisation of real lives fuels cinema with films such as Calendar Girls, Touching the Void and most recently, Sylvia. This week the Alan Clark diaries airs on BBC4. But how do you go about portraying real people on screen?

Jenny Agutter, who plays Jane Clark in the series and Jackie Malton, who was the inspiration for TV's Jane Tennison of Prime Suspect fame join Jenni to discuss portraying real people on screen.

Alan Clark Diaries begin on BBC4 on 15 January
