Black women and eroticismMonday 22 December 2003
The publisher behind the new Brown Skin Books says she got tired of never finding a black woman on the erotica bookshelves, so she started an imprint of her own, described as erotic fiction by black women for all women.

But will the label be an important breakthrough in a world where fiction is all too often centred in a white world. Or might it simply reinforce damaging stereotypes about black women's sexuality.
Vastiana Belfon, publisher of Brown Skin Books and business consultant Miti Ampoma join Jenni to discuss who will buy the books and whether there is a generation of black Bridget Joneses out there?
