Sue Townsend - Woman of the Year AwardTuesday 14 October 2003
Author, Sue Townsend, best-known for the Adrian Mole diaries has just received the Frink Award at the Women of the Year Lunch.

The award is presented to those who make a difference to the lives of others and for achievements in the face of adversity.
Sue, who has severely impaired vision and diabetes, talks to Jenni about the award and how she has adapted to her disabilities.
But do we need women's award ceremonies? Lindsay Nicholson and Joan Burnie from The Herald join Jenni to discuss the issues.
