Tama JanowitzThursday 21 August 2003
Tama Janowitz was the original New York 'it' girl. She burst into the spotlight with her collection of short stories, Slaves of New York in 1986.

Now, fifteen years later, she's just published her eighth novel, Peyton Amberg about a 50 year old New York wife and mother whose search for romantic fulfilment takes her on a sexual odyssey to hotels in Brazil, Hong Kong and Milan.
Tama Janowitz joins Jenni to talk about the new book.
Peyton Amberg is published by Bloomsbury; ISBN: 0747561389 on 15 September 2003
