KnittingWednesday 23 July 2003
Knitting is set to become all the rage in the 21st centure. You may have noticed that knitwear, embroidery and crochet have all been making regular appearances on both the cat walk and the high street this season.

Not only has homespun become de rigeur with the fashionistas, but it is also being adopted as a viable and valuable hobby by a growing number of bright, trendy young things.
Cast Off is a London-based knitting club for both boys and girls. Founded just over a year ago, the group now meet regularly in a series of bars, clubs, pubs and other modish venues, where they can indulge in this favourite pastime.
Anna McNamee went to along to meet them.
